Warranty Policy

Pre-Owned Watches

All modern watches are under warranty for a period of one year from date of purchase. If the watch malfunctions within one year from the date of purchase, Paul A. Duggan Co. will repair the defect at no cost to the customer.  All work will be done to factory standards and only genuine parts will be used. The customer will be responsible for shipping to Paul A. Duggan Co., in a secure package via insured carrier. All warranty repairs will be returned to the customer at our expense. This warranty does not cover external damage, damage caused by force or water damage caused by the customer. Any watch that has been opened, tampered with, serviced or attempted to be repaired by any source other than Paul A. Duggan Co. or its designated agent will void all warranties. Rolex watches with warranty cards dated within the past 5 years are still under factory warranty.
This warranty does not apply to transactions within the jewelry trade.

Trade Accounts: We offer a 30-day warranty policy on all trade accounts. For new watches, the manufacturer's warranty applies.

Vintage Watches

All watches are under warranty for a period of six months from date of purchase. If the watch malfunctions within six months from the date of purchase, Paul A. Duggan Co. will repair the defect at no cost to the customer. The customer will be responsible for shipping to Paul A. Duggan Co., in a secure package via insured carrier. All warranty repairs will be returned to the customer at our expense. This warranty does not cover external damage or water damage caused by the customer.

New Watches

The warranty period is extended to two years or longer if specified by the manufacturer. When possible, warranty repairs will be returned to the factory via a factory authorized dealer. If our supplier is not factory authorized we will do the repair work in house. Factory warranty repairs normally take 8-10 weeks. In house repairs 4-8 weeks. Paul A. Duggan Co., is not a factory authorized seller of any watch brand. Please see our explanation under discounts.

Antique Pocketwatches

Our pocketwatch inventory is sold in collectible condition. All antique watches will wind, set, run and keep reasonable time. We do not offer any extended warranty due to the age and delicate nature of antique pocketwatches. Any defects to the case, dial or movement will be noted in the descriptions. If you wish to carry your purchase on a daily basis, we recommend a full restoration and can quote an estimated cost.
